Lake Fort Smith State Park, Mountainburg, Arkansas
A couple weeks ago, I went to Lake Fort Smith State Park in Arkansas. It was magnificent ... sniffs ... paved campground roads ... lots of hikes ... shopping ... waterfalls ... laughter by warm campfires ... so many of my favorite things.
As you can plainly see, I am fully in the moment of going on a trip with my ears up and mouth smiling. Shame on my people for letting a few months elapse since going on an adventure together!

Beautiful Ozark Country with lots of amazing nature and hiking! RV spots (not pictured) were not too close to each other, had clean bathrooms and were surrounded by beauty (woods, lake views). Cabins were extra nice .... I love a nice KOA cabin honestly, but these put KOA cabins to shame! We went shopping in Old Town Van Buren, AR ... zoom in on my face in the picture where my Daddy is holding me and you will see how happy I was to be shopping in this historic town. All the cabins have decks that take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, making them even more cozy!

I'm somewhat of a waterfall junkie ... I've been to so many with my herd ... really can't get enough .... in fact, I want my sister to book a trip to West Virginia because I heard they have a waterfall trail!! ... back to this trip, I want to share my photo memories from our day trip to Devil's Den State Park in West Fork, AR .... we took some really curly roads to get there and it did not disappoint ... I was tuckered out and had to rest on the ride back to base camp!
