Spring 2026 Adventure

Spring 2026 Adventure
After spending a few days in Kansas with my friend Sissy, we stayed in this caboose at the KOA La Junta, CO.

I'm not sure where we are going. My sister says it will be lots of fun and I believe her. My main herd loaded the car and we headed down the road. The important thing is that I saw my two bags (I'll have to tell you about my private carriage ride on Mackinac Island sometime), my thermos full of cold water (drinking bowl fastens on the bottom tee tee), and by my calculation (I'm an excellent counter) at least a month's worth of my bison and quinoa in the Bouge RV travel fridge/freezer.

After a long day of driving, we pulled up to a house. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my friend Sissy come bouncing out to greet me!!! I'm not always comfortable around other dogs but Sissy is gentle and I love her. We stayed a few days so that Daddy and his buddy Ray could play golf together. Honestly, I was having such a fun time; I could've stayed a few more days!

After visiting Sissy, the car took off again. You can bet I was in my plush memory-foam raised carseat with eyes wide open (until I got sleepy). We ended up in a town in Colorado called La Junta. The town didn't impress me much but I really liked the trains in the campground. I slept in a caboose. On several long campground walks, I saw a couple other future railroad-themed rentals.

I don't know where we go next but we aren't in Kansas anymore!
